  • The guides are intentionally subtle. They’re designed to disappear as your drawing develops, supporting your work without competing with it. The goal is structure that fades into the background, not lines you have to fight.

  • Each page is made from heavyweight, 100% cotton fine art paper chosen for its exceptional durability, natural tooth, and archival quality. Pages are hand-cut making each sketchpad subtly unique.The deckled edges are intentionally preserved, giving every page a tactile, handmade feel that reflects the care and craft behind the sketchpad.

  • The paper performs beautifully with:

    • Graphite and mechanical pencil

    • Colored pencil

    • Fineliner and technical pens

    • Light ink washes

    • Soft erasing and layering

    Very wet media (heavy watercolor or alcohol markers) may cause warping or bleed-through and aren’t recommended.

  • Yes. The pages progress from simple to more complex, making it approachable for beginners while still engaging for experienced artists. No prior experience with mandalas or sacred geometry is required.

  • No. These are open-ended drawing templates, not finished designs. There’s no “right” way to complete a page, the structure is there to support your creativity, not define it.

  • Each Astraline sketchpad is hand-made. The template pages are hand-cut, then carefully printed, aligned with a contents page, and bound together with a padded backing board using traditional binding compound. The cover is then trimmed, affixed, and inspected before being packaged and shipped with care from our home studio.
